The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has reduced the speed limit on OR 99E/McLoughlin Boulevard through Gladstone from 40 mph to 35 mph. This change is part of a larger investment strategy aimed at improving safety for pedestrians and cyclists along the corridor.

The next phase of the plan focuses on enhancing pedestrian safety on OR 99E/McLoughlin Boulevard. Planned improvements include installing rapid flashing beacons, additional lighting, and pedestrian push buttons. The project will also construct new sidewalks to close existing gaps, rebuild the traffic signal at W Arlington Street, and upgrade selected curb ramps and driveways to improve accessibility.

We experienced a water main break in the Sherwood Forest Neighborhood, in the early morning hours. Crews are on site making repairs, while we continue to assess the situation.

We have shut down service to several homes on the North East side of Devonshire and Shadow Ct.

If you had a reduction in water flow you should flush your internal system. To do so, open water on the bathtub (furthest bathroom in home is ideal), let water flow for 1–2 minutes. Flush your faucet aerators to remove sediment that may have been stirred up during the break, seeingent will effect water floww internally.

Friday morning kicked off with a 💦splash💦. Crews responded to water flowing ITAO 250 E. Berkeley St. where they found a water main entangled in tree roots. After releasing some water into the air, crews repaired the leak and restored service to the area.

If you were impacted by this watermain break, we ask that you flush your system by flowing water from a tub or shower and clean faucet aerators, to clear them of debris. Not cleaning aerators can prolong discolored water and reduce water flow within your home.
