As Democrats, we believe in a government that works for everyone—not just those at the top, and certainly not just those who can easily navigate the system.

We need leaders on the DuPage County Board who understand that true public service is about lifting up those who have been left behind.

Throughout her career, Paula has proven where her heart lies:
Championing the Vulnerable: Paula is a populist at heart. She has spent years fighting for DuPage County families who fall between the cracks and live at the margins.

Prioritizing Mental Health & Recovery: She was instrumental in the establishment of the DuPage County Drug Courts, offering rehabilitation and hope instead of just incarceration. Furthermore, she was an early adopter and vocal champion of the Milton Township 708 Mental Health Board, helping push that critical initiative to a successful vote.

A Proven Public Servant: Paula’s commitment to our community is deep. She serves our families on the DuPage Regional Board of School Trustees and has brought accountability and transparency to local government as an elected Milton Township Trustee.
Supporting Our Heroes: Beyond her elected roles, Paula lives her values every day, dedicating her personal time to volunteer and support our disabled veterans.

We don't need status-quo politics in DuPage County. We need someone who is focused on mental health, safety, fiscal responsibility, and human dignity. Paula McGowen is the change agent DuPage County Board District 4 needs right now.
