Summer is winding down and the SNAP-Ed food demos are taking a little break while we enjoy the remaining weeks of nice weather. Don't worry, the demos (and FREE SAMPLES) should return to our location in the fall. Keep an eye out for more information!

We received a phone call this morning from a business that was approached by someone claiming to be representing the Lowville Food Pantry. They asked for a donation and received a gift card. WE ARE NOT REQUESTING DONATIONS FROM BUSINESSES IN THE FORM OF GIFT CARDS!! Our current Meat and Cheese Raffle gift cards are ALL bought by one of our volunteers…please notify us if anyone approaches you for a donation of a gift card!

Our office will be closed Tuesday July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Just a reminder we start moving back to Lowville on 7/5. While we will be open during the transition, we ask business is handled over the phone if possible. Have a safe and happy 4th!

There was a great turn out at the Human Services Building ribbon cutting and open house yesterday. Now it's time for our staff to get ready to MOVE back! Starting on July 5th we will be moving back to our Lowville office. We plan to be open in Lowville starting 7/7.
