This weekend, I’m taking a moment to slow down and reconnect with nature. Standing here among the trees, away from the noise, reminds me how important our natural spaces are — not just for the environment, but for our peace of mind.

The forests, parks, trails, and waterways across New York give so many of us a place to breathe, reflect, heal, and recharge. Protecting our natural resources means protecting the mental wellness and quality of life of every New Yorker.

As we build the future of our state, we must invest in conservation, clean air and water, and accessible green spaces for every community. Nature should never be a luxury — it’s essential. 🌲🍃

Wishing everyone a peaceful weekend outdoors.

Please join my family and I this Memorial Day as we come together to honor our heroes and celebrate community. 🇺🇸

Following the Glens Falls/Queensbury Memorial Day Parade, you’re warmly invited to a family-friendly BBQ Meet & Greet at our home—Lang Rig, 552 Glen Street in Glens Falls, next to Crandall Park. Bring your loved ones, enjoy BBQ food, and connect with neighbors as we build a stronger future together.

All are welcome—because community starts with family. ❤️

Honored to stand alongside leaders who are deeply committed to serving our communities. Grateful for the support and shared vision with Congressman Paul Tonko and State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli as we work toward a stronger, more accountable New York.

This campaign is about putting people first, building trust in government, and delivering real results for our families, workers, and small businesses. I’m ready to bring that fight to the State Senate.

Let’s get to work. 💪🇺🇸

Happy May Day 🌹

Today is a reminder that the rights we often take for granted—fair wages, safe workplaces, and reasonable hours—exist because workers organized and stood together. Unions have always been about dignity, fairness, and having a voice on the job.

The strength of working people has always come from solidarity, and that still matters today. Supporting unions means supporting stronger communities, a stronger middle class, and a more just economy.

Had a great time attending the Well Child Foundation Read-a-thon event yesterday—huge congratulations to all the participants who showed up, engaged, and made it meaningful.

One thing that really stood out is how powerful something as simple as reading can be for kids’ mental health. Books create space to slow down, imagine, and process emotions in a way screens just don’t. In a world full of constant notifications and digital noise, giving children time away from electronics and into stories can help build focus, empathy, and resilience.

Moments like this are a reminder: supporting kids doesn’t always require something complicated—sometimes it starts with a book and a little quiet time. 📚
