Here is the BOE meeting schedule for the 2022-2023 school year. This will get updated if they add additional meetings (note that special meetings are usually executive sessions - which will be listed on the agenda - and can't be attended by the public).

**At the very bottom of the page is a link to a Google Doc where you can sign up to receive email notifications of upcoming BOE meetings. The emails will come from Dane Baxa and always include the meeting agenda.**

Email from the district:

Goddard Public Schools Staff and Families.

Per USD 265 Board of Education action, "effective Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 the mask requirement is voluntary, and the district will follow county health department orders on quarantines for close contacts."

To clarify, there are currently no state or county health orders mandating the exclusion of close-contacts. You will be notified via email when there is a positive case that's been confirmed within your child's classroom or team. At that point, families will need to monitor for symptoms, and if your child becomes symptomatic, they must stay home. The USD 265 testing center will continue to be made available to students who may have been a close contact and would like to be tested. If your child remains symptom free, they will not be excluded from school or related activities.

*Breaking News*
Parents, we have some good news regarding our efforts to encourage the USD265 BOE to stay focused on the education of our children and stay away from me.dical interventions (namely m.asks and C-1 9 vac.cines).
We believe a lot of this is due to:
•your efforts to show up and speak at the BOE meetings
•your conversations with the Superintendent
•your efforts to unseat incumbents at the polls, we were successful on electing Ginger Rose (and waiting on news for the write-ins)
This evening, the BOE unanimously voted to make ma.sks optional K-12 and to follow County Guidelines effective this Wednesday & going forward. Many of us are not happy about the portion of the decision that requires the board to follow County Guidelines, but we will have to figure out how to combat that aspect going forward.
Tonight, we thank you for rallying together for the sake of the children. We know we are the majority, and though many are silent, you have made an impact.
Stay engaged here, as we will ask your help in making sure the board stays true to their word about not hosting va.cci.ne cl.inics in schools and not requiring the C-1 9 Va.x for school attendance. We want to knowledge share with you so that we can continue to educate the Board on how CRT Is already taking root in our schools.
Continue having conversations with other parents and residents of the school district. Whether at the ball game, the playground or in the school pick up line, you have proven to be a tremendous influence. Thank you for partnering with all of us as we continue to reclaim our children’s future.

Governor Kelly has indicated that schools can host C-19 vacc.ine clin.ics. Once again we are pressing the Goddard BOE to focus on the *education* of our children, and avoid engaging in me.dical interventions. The C-19 vac.cines will be available to children for free in a variety of locations, this should NOT be the business of our schools.

Here is the Goddard BOE Town Hall from 10/24/21. This is Amanda Vrana, Ginger Rose, Rachel Murphy, and Shane Dent. The rest of the candidates were invited but chose not to participate.
