❤️ Taking Care of Our Own at Goshen EMS ❤️
The last month has brought several difficult calls for our Goshen EMS crews. While we are trained to care for our patients during some of their hardest moments, those calls can stay with our providers long after we return to the station.
We are incredibly thankful for the support that surrounds our team. We are grateful for our newly added paramedics, for the continued backing of our county, and for our peer mediators who are there to help our crews process the difficult moments that come with this job.
And sometimes, the best medicine is a wagging tail. 🐾❤️
A very special thank you to Therapy Dog May, who came to spend some time with our crew. May brought plenty of smiles, doggy kisses, laughs, and a much-needed reminder that sometimes you just need to stop, take a breath, and enjoy a little four-legged love.
EMS is more than responding to calls. It’s about taking care of our patients and taking care of each other.
To everyone who continues to support our crews — thank you. We are stronger because we have each other. 🚑❤️🐾

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness shown by first responders and ordinary Americans on one of our nation’s darkest days.

As members of EMS, we carry forward the legacy of those who ran toward danger when others needed help most. Their bravery, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

🇺🇸 We remember the fallen. We honor the heroes. We will never forget.
