What a day!

Our combined Wells Road and GMMS Field Day was a huge success! A special shout-out to Mr. Godin, Ms. Wabble, and Mr. Migneault for organizing this epic event. The weather was perfect (okay, maybe a little hot!), the games were a blast, and our high school activity leaders were absolutely AMAZING.

From friendly competition to lots of laughs and school spirit, it was the perfect day for students and staff to come together and celebrate the end of the year. Thank you to all who helped make the day such a memorable one!

As our spring concert season comes to a close, we're celebrating the incredible talent and hard work of our student musicians and staff. Their dedication and countless hours of preparation were on full display throughout each performance.

Today, two of our GMMS Crew classes had the chance to meet their Kelly Lane buddies in person! The smiles, laughter, and fun were nonstop as students partnered up and played an exciting game of Simon Says together. It was wonderful to see our students showing such kindness, leadership, and enthusiasm. Great job, everyone!

Our Adventure Club enjoyed a field trip to the Farmington Valley YMCA where students challenged themselves on the climbing wall! This culminating activity was filled with fun, teamwork, and perseverance. We are so proud of our students for stepping outside their comfort zones and supporting one another! A special thank you to the Farmington Valley YMCA for providing such a great experience for our students!

Day 2 in Washington, D.C. is in the books!

Today our students experienced the incredible history and sacrifice honored at Arlington National Cemetery, including witnessing the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. From there, we explored the wonders of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History before visiting the powerful Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial.

Now we are wrapping up an amazing day on our way to Smokey Glen Farm for good food, music, dancing, games, and lots of fun together!

These students continue to represent Granby Memorial Middle School with pride everywhere we go!
