Join us Wednesday, September 2nd, as we celebrate the completion of the Embury-Cook Road Trail with a ribbon cutting followed by a community bike ride!

Bring the kids, grab your bikes and come ride with us on the new pathway! The Grand Blanc Township Police Department Bicycle Unit will be joining us for the ride, making it a great evening for the whole family.

Happy First Day of School, Bobcats! As a new school year begins, let’s all do our part to help keep students safe. Whether you’re driving through a school zone, following a school bus, or sharing the road with students walking or biking, please remember to:
🚗 Watch your speed in school zones! Be aware that school zone speed limits may vary in hours and speeds. Be sure to follow the posted limits.
🚸 Slow down in residential areas and be alert. Watch for children crossing the street and congregating near bus stops. The area 10 feet around a school bus is where children are in the most danger of being hit.
🚌 Do not pass a school bus that is stopped to load or unload children. Traffic in both directions must stop when students are entering or exiting a school bus

Our officers are taking their training and expertise into the community, providing local businesses and organizations with Active Shooter Response Preparedness Training.

Today’s training was led by Officer Whitt, with assistance from Captain McCoy. These trainings help employees understand how to respond and make informed decisions during an active shooter incident.
