The High Desert Scooterist Forum was established in 2010 by a group of locals with a passion for building a scene on the Western Slope of Colorado. Grand Junction, the largest city on the Western Slope is often thought of as a gas stop while on your way to somewhere else, or overlooked completely. But we have a lot to offer to the touring and local scooterist. There’s an interesting downtown area
with offbeat shops, bars and restaurants with ample spots to park a scoot. For scooters of all sizes, there are several great rides just outside town and a few fun ones in and around town. GJ is the perfect size to make even a small scooter a reasonable purchase and a useful urban-village motoring device. For larger, highway capable scoots, Grand Junction provides a good jumping off point for adventures throughout the four corners region and beyond. Join fellow Grand Junction area scooterists on our Weekly Weekend Meetup, Saturdays at 12:30 pm. These include a local, 50cc friendly ride with a lunch stop.
