Today… probably the SINGLE BEST business day I can think of in 30 years. ❤️🦞

We’ve booked multiple classes at Martha’s Vineyard (Massachusetts)… and we booked classes in Tennessee today. Heading to the beaches of the UPPER PENINSULA, MI now and looking forward to South Dakota in November.

#31 worker fatalities in Michigan has been reported by Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration (MIOSHA). Our condolences to the family, friends and colleagues to this employee who lost their life on the job.

Every life is important, and we are doing as much as we can to help employees work in a safe work environment AND help employers to comply.

We still (all of us) have a lot of work to do in safety on the job.

The 30th reported Michigan workplace fatality has been announced by Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration (MIOSHA). Our condolences to the families, colleagues and friends impacted my this tragic loss. We feel this to the core.

Active Shooter / Assailant Survival – What Is Your Plan?

FREE GRANT FUNDED TRAINING- ZOOM

Join Dr. Kenneth Wolf for a free workplace violence prevention training on Monday, Aug. 31, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Training will be held remotely via Zoom. Registration is required.

Description:
This program will discuss considerations for developing a survival plan in the event of an active shooter or assailant incident.

Analysis of active shooter incidents at malls, manufacturing facilities, health care facilities, offices, houses of worship, colleges, schools and other public settings has identified preventive strategies that may help increase employee survival. This training will focus on helping employees prepare for and respond to an active shooter or assailant incident and understand the response “choices” they may need to consider.

The training will discuss Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Run, Hide, Fight guidance, along with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) best practices and additional strategies for employee self-protection and survival.

Videos of actual shooting events and individual responses during shooting incidents will be used to demonstrate key survival considerations and choices.
