The Supreme Court’s emergency ruling today protects tele health access to Mifepristone, but the legal question has not been settled.

As we speak, the Trump administration is pursuing a sham FDA “review” of the drug in order to lay the groundwork for a nationwide ban.

Mifepristone has been FDA-approved, and proven safe and effective by decades of scientific research.

Millions of women rely on it for miscarriage and abortion care.

My Republican opponent has not only voted against women’s access to reproductive healthcare, he has introduced bills that would result in criminal penalties.

His work aligns with the Republican’s extreme agenda to strip women of the right to manage their own healthcare.

Republicans, once again, demonstrate their priority is pandering to the past rather than creating a vibrant future for the state of Michigan.
Today, they voted to repeal the Clean Energy & Jobs Act.
This legislation is the foundation for our clean energy goals in the state. In ensures that we invest in a diverse portfolio of energy sources that moves us into the future. The importance of this legislation is evident as we’re just coming off yet another winter of devastating ice storms.
Luckily we have a Dem majority in the senate to stop this package.

Anger, frustration, grief, confusion, disbelief, helplessness, more frustration.
I simply can not understand why we have to continue to bear witness to lives needlessly lost, families & communities destroyed.
Surely our forefathers never intended this when they wrote the second amendment.
After the MSU shooting, we finally passed the simplest of common sense gun measures, supported by 80%+ of Michiganders. There is more we can do. More common sense regulations with equally broad support.
Enough is enough!! 😡
Elections matter. In SD30, the current senator voted against all our gun safety laws - even safe storage despite overwhelming support. I’m running to make sure SD30 has representation that represents the values of this community.

Two makeshift memorials grew Wednesday outside a Grand Rapids elementary school where a teen and woman were shot and killed.
