CLEAR For All

CLEAR For All CLEAR stands for Coalition, Leadership, Education, Advice and Rehabilition. We service men and women who are justice impacted! We service ALL of Kent County!

CLEAR is a support group run by two officers from the Grand Rapids Police Department for men and women coming out of jail and prison. GRPD and Michigan Department of Corrections are partnered together along with other community organizations to support individuals re-entering our communities. CLEAR exists to break the cycle of recidivism by building community and law enforcement relationships to l

ead, educate and mentor returning citizens. This improves lives and creates safer communities. Our support groups are just based in downtown Grand Rapids.

Happy Saturday all!
In the past several weeks CLEAR has been involved in several community events.
We just had the Resource Summit at the Catholic Diocese, I spoke on a breakout session to people from all over the US at ReEntry United and today I have a table at the Expungement fair!
Spreading the word that CLEAR really, truly helps support and get people back on their feet who are re-entering our communities ❤️.

Shout out to this sweet soul! Dorlean aka Tweety just celebrated FOUR YEARS of sobriety!!! She has learned so much being in CLEAR, but she is also such an inspiration and blessing for the other girls. Always sending inspirational texts every morning and just being there to listen. CLEAR update!

The women are all doing great! This past week we were finally able to throw one of our girls a baby sprinkle for her twin boys. After staying in a one room shelter, they finally were placed in housing! Yay!
We will be having a family picnic in two weeks to bring everyone together to bond and celebrate all the wins.

❤️Needs:
One of my amazing partnerships is looking for a stroller. They are an in patient recovery program and also allow babies to stay with their mothers during treatment. They are looking for a stroller that the mothers can use on site to push their sweet babies around. If you have one or know someone who does please reach out!

As always I have a running Amazon wish list. All items go directly into the hands of women in need whether they live in Kent County or are in the program itself. We help all 🩷. We are running low on deodorant so that is a high priority currently.

Last evening was the Sacred Beginnings Freedom of Flight Gala. Thank you to all who voted for me. I was honored to have won the Lloyd Sealy law-enforcement of the year award.
I love what I do. I love the girls I serve. I am so proud of the women that they are becoming. This award is for all the survivors of trafficking know that Clear is always a safe space for you.
