2021-2022 Instructional Calendar Approved

The 2021-2022 GCISD School Calendar! 🗓

The GCISD Board of Trustees has approved the instructional calendar for the 2021-2022 school year.

🚨 Important Dates & Info for 5th Grade 🚨

GCISD Personalized Programs Lottery is currently open and will remain open until Feb. 12th. Students (5th grade only) who are interested in the STEM program at Grapevine Middle School must complete the application form (refer to Dolphin Tales for link). The only requirement for the STEM program is that students must take accelerated Math and Science courses starting in the 6th grade.

There will be multiple opportunities for students and parents to learn about STEM in the coming weeks. Additional information will be sent as it’s received from Grapevine Middle School.

Don’t forget to pick up your holiday party boxes today if you haven’t already!! ❤️💛

Our Dove PTA has put together party boxes for all Dove students! If your student is remote, please come up to the school either today or tomorrow between 8am and 3:15pm to pick up your child's party box. They will be in the front foyer. Just ring the bell and a staff member will bring one out to you!

A ❤️SPECIAL DELIVERY💚 for Dove students from Dove PTA & BME Exteriors was dropped off at the school yesterday.. to be dispersed to all students (in-person & remote) this week! 🤩

Lots of helping hands on this project but a big special shoutout to the Clower family for all of the extra time and love they put into these boxes for our students!! Thanks Amanda, Jordan & boys!!! We appreciate you!!

The USDA has issued a nationwide waiver, allowing GCISD to offer meals FREE at no charge beginning September 22 through December 2020 at all elementary and middle school campuses and meal bundles at curbside locations. Also, thanks so much to Amanda Clower and Stephanie Burns for helping me (Sarah Eikenberry 😉) tag and prep all of them for distributing and then another BIG BIG BIG thank you to Stephanie for volunteering to personalize all of our Dove campus staff’s masks with their names on them!
