Hurdling Handicaps Speaking Ministries, a non-profit 501(C) 3, is a Christ-centered speaking ministry founded by motivational speaker Larry Patton in 1985. His purpose is to show people how God works in extraordinary and powerful ways to help us hurdle life’s handicaps: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Hurdling Handicaps challenges, encourages, and gives individuals the opportunity to accept that with Jesus Christ working in their lives, they can hurdle any handicap.

Friday was the last full day of the Great Getaway. It was Red, White and Blue day. After morning programming we had our afternoon activities, which included water related options, like the foam machine. The last night is always highlighted by the talent show. This year there were 25 different acts, showcasing the amazing gifts of our kids and adults.

Thursday started again with inclusive worship...see first comment, morning programming and afternoon activities. The night time was a little different as the parent enjoyed some time with themselves...have a special meal, and a time of fellowship.
