Thanks to all neighbors that came out to meet with us last Saturday for our Poison Prevention Community Education Outreach. We met with and handed out free resources to close to 400 people! Don't forget to keep the Tennessee Poison Center FREE 24/7 Helpline phone number in a handy spot. Just like all of us at GVFD, they are there to help keep you and your family safe. 1-800-222-1222

Dear friends and neighbors:
If you have not already received it, you should receive our spring mailer in your mailbox any day now. We thank you in advance of your ongoing support of your fire department!

As a reminder, we will never solicit donations by phone, or take any credit card or ACH payments by phone. For security we continue to request that donations be mailed by check payable to GVFD, or you can donate by credit card on our only official website: grayfire.org

Spring is here, and it's time to set your clocks ahead one hour on Sunday morning. It's also a great time to test your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and change the batteries if needed. Please note that some newer smoke alarms have a built-in 10-year lithium battery that you can not change - but older models still need fresh batteries. Any smoke alarm over 10 years old needs to be replaced with a new alarm. grayfire.org
