Historic day for the cities of Grayville and Albion as the contract was officially signed for the construction of a water treatment facility in a joint effort with W2E. The project projected start date in August 2026 with completion projected to be in late 2027.

What do you notice in these two treasure reports? The first one set of pictures is the most recent treasure report. The second set is my very first meeting. So in a span of 6 to 7 years we have gained $1.3 million in funds at the City of Grayville with new investments.

During that time frame we have also done the following:
1. Phase 1 waterline project
2. Phase 2 waterline project
3. New downtown sidewalks
4. New pool pump
5. New pool liner
6. 4th police officer
7. Helped pay for new 4 way stop.
8. Water tower maintenance package( new paint inside and out, and washing inside and out)
9. New pumps at the water building
10. New bypass pump
11. 3 new police vehicles
12. 2 new city vehicles
13. Countless TIF agreements for businesses
14. Countless revolving loan grants to help tear down dilapidated buildings plus the ones the city has torn down itself.

Soon to be added Sewer lagoon project.

In light of rumors which was addressed last night by Commissioner Ford, I wanted to share some insight. Pictured here is the first meeting in which I was mayor as you can see shows $2.1 million. The second treasure report comes from last night meeting in which we have $3.4 million. $1.3 million dollars gained in 6 1/2 years. While doing these things
- Water Tower Maintenance Program which includes new paint job inside and out. When I became mayor, the water tower was covered in mold
- $250,000 investment into the pool
- 4th officer
- 2 phases of waterline projects in which yes we did receive grants for but we had to come up with significant overages
- New Sidewalks uptown
- The state redoing the 4 way stop in which we had to chip in $35,000
- Investment of $100,000 into a CD which was the first investment in years for the City of Grayville.
- Lowered taxes
- Auditor “really really good shape
