Nitti For State Supreme Court Gino Nitti has been a long-serving attorney in Monroe County from the Public Defenders office to the DA's office and as Town Judge in Greece, NY.

Judge Gino Nitti has served the people of Greece as Town Justice since 2005. He is a graduate of Gates-Chili High School, SUNY Geneseo, and Albany Law School. He is the father of two adult children and a lifelong resident of Monroe County. Since joining the Greece town bench in 2005, Judge Nitti has overseen 50,000 cases. As a Town Court Judge in one of the largest towns in New York State – larger

than the City of Albany – Judge Nitti is responsible for the fair and impartial administration of the law for cases ranging from traffic violations to landlord-tenant disputes to felonies. Judge Nitti began his lifetime of public service in 1989 as an Assistant District Attorney under then-District Attorney Howard Relin, prosecuting serious felonies including murders, rapes, and assaults. During his 13 years of service as a prosecutor, Judge Nitti maintained an approximate 90 percent conviction rate. Judge Nitti has also previously served as a Commissioner of the New York State Board of Parole, reviewing applications for parole and issuing warrants for the arrest of parole violators, and as an attorney for the Monroe County Department of Law. With the county, he served primarily as an administrative prosecutor in child maltreatment and abuse cases and juvenile delinquency proceedings and represented Child Protective Services in neglect proceedings in Monroe County Family Court. Outside of his legal career, Judge Nitti has long been a supporter of youth baseball, serving as an administrator or coach for Monroe County Pop Warner, Greece Little League, Greece Community Baseball, and Monroe County Babe Ruth Baseball.
