Wisconsin Army National Guard RSP Detachment 3 Company A Green Bay, WI Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP)-- Before you ship to Basic Combat Training (BCT), you'll attend the Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP). These weekends will be your introduction to BCT and will get you started learning basic military customs and courtesies, while keeping you on track, mentally, physically and emotionally in preparation for your career in the Guard. RSP drills give you an opportunity to build your confidence with the terminology and protocols that are part of Guard service—and you'll be getting paid for the time you spend at RSP

Mission: Army National Guard (ARNG) Recruitment Sustainment Program (RSP) Mission Statement Reduce the overall training pipeline loss rate by creating a strong foundation of training which provides Soldiers the ability to achieve success during Initial Entry Training (IET). The RSP will provide full visibility on the preparation process, and ensures applicants ship to Basic Combat Training (BCT) mentally prepared, physically ready and administratively correct. It also promotes integration of the Recruiting and Retention Battalion (RRB), the RSP Soldier and potential applicants, facilitates lead generation and conversion, and reinforces the benefits of ARNG service as well as the opportunities offered for education during concurrent service in the RSP. The Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) is the Department of Defense’s premier Pre-IET soldierization immersion training. Utilizing a taking care of Soldiers mentality that continuously strives to improve training, guidance, mentorship and leadership provided to the Army National Guard’s newly enlisted Soldiers. The RSP fosters an environment that Soldiers want to refer their friends and family members as potential members of the ARNG team.

Green Bay RSP MONTHLY FITNESS CHALLENGE!!!

Before April's drill on the 4-5th, at least 30 different individuals have to comment on this post at least 1 time regarding any kind of workout you put in!

If that does not happen, expect an extra PT session @ 2100 on 4 Apr.

If any of your battle buddies do not have FB and still want to be involved. They need to get with you (not their recruiter or other cadre members) to make a comment for them.

**If you can beat DS Steudel's 2-mile time (posted below) that automatically gets you out of the extra PT session**

We are taking the recent threat of the Coronavirus very seriously. However, we will still be conducting training this weekend as scheduled. We are taking the necessary precautions to ensure no one who may be sick attends drill with us. If you are a primary caregiver or have regular close contact with the high risk population (elderly or weakened immune system) we ask that you clearly communicate your situation. We will more than likely excuse you to further prevent the spread of this virus. Please use your chain of command and communicate asap

Many people over the years have asked me how to improve their run time. The answer being, theirs many different ways of doing it and not one way necessarily works for everyone. It's all about getting into a some sort routine that gets your body moving. The biggest obstacle will be getting past your mind, all the negative thoughts. Once the routine is established, and feel your body running on all cylinders, the sky is they limit. I'm currently working to reach my goal this winter of running a 1 mile time under 5 mins.... Only one way to get there 🏃🏻‍♂️
