🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT! 🚨

We’ve been bursting at the seams for a while now, and the time has FINALLY come... WE’RE MOVING! 🎉

That’s right, after outgrowing our current space long ago, we’ve been on the hunt for the perfect place to call our home and we found it! 🏡

We are beyond grateful to the YWCA for welcoming us with open arms over the last year and a half, but as we continue to grow, we need more space to better serve our kiddos, families, and staff! ❤️

What does this mean?
✔️ A bigger & more suitable space 💪
✔️ More room for our kiddos to grow & thrive 🌱
✔️ A stronger team to serve even more families ❤️
✔️ And SO many new opportunities for both our kiddos & staff!

We’ll be at our current location (YWCA) until the first week of summer, then it’s time to welcome you all into our brand-new, fully-ours, space!

Some of our kiddos kicked off Spring Break with a storm of excitement, learning all about Extreme Weather with Chief Meteorologist Steve Beylon! ⛈️⚡ And guess what? Some of them will be featured on Channel 2 News tomorrow morning, so be sure to tune in at 4:45 AM, 5:10 AM, 6:00 AM, or 7:00 AM to see their shining (and maybe stormy) moments! 🌈📺

Our kids sure love to learn and work on different activities. One of our kiddos even helped us do the dishes! We are always helping our kids learn different things whether it's different activities or skills that will help them be more independent when they're older!

Parents and Caregivers! Empower yourself with the knowledge to support your child’s educational journey. Join us for a watch party as we gain valuable insights about IEPs. Stay after the webinar for a live Q&A session with Jennifer Bourget, Executive Director of Counting Stars, to get your questions answered! This event is part of the Parent Equip Speaker Series and funded by the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. Each parent will leave with resources and tools provided by DSAW.

This IEP session will cover:

✅ Tips for successful collaboration with your child’s school
✅ Your rights as a parent or guardian

Wednesdays are for swimming! Our kids love swimming days so much! They are becoming more independent in the pool and are finding their confidence!

Counting Stars, Inc has officially been in business for ONE year as of January 15, 2025! Our Executive Director, Jennifer Bourget shares her story about Counting Stars and what the organization is all about! We have served over 80 families throughout Brown County and we cannot wait to continue to grow in 2025!

The snowy day is making it feel like Christmas! We are reminiscing on some of our kids getting the opportunity to meet Santa and share their wishlist with him! A huge shoutout to Options for Independent Living for allowing our kids to attend their Sensory Santa event! We are all about inclusion in our community and showing our kids that they belong anywhere! We can't wait to bring our kids back this year.

How long have you been with Counting Stars? I have been working for Counting Stars since September 2024.

What is your favorite food? My favorite food is walking tacos.

What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is The Shining.

What is your favorite season and why? My favorite season is summer because I love bonfires and walks in the woods.

What is your favorite thing about working for Counting Stars? My favorite thing about working for Counting Stars is seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces and knowing that our team is making a difference in their lives.
