The 2021 Blanketing Brown County Blanket Drive has begun! Last year’s drive sponsored by the Greater Green Bay Labor Council collected more than 2,400 blankets for distribution to those in need. Over 40 Brown County programs serving those experiencing homelessness and low-income families benefit from your donations. We recently received a very generous donation of PPE supplies including thermometers, tissues, gloves, paper towels, signage, sanitizer and disinfectant as part of the Brown County United Way – Day of Action with the funds raised by United Way Worldwide and the Green Bay Packers.

As COVID-19 cases continue to escalate to critical levels, Brown County United Way, Greater Green Bay Chamber, and Greater Green Bay Community Foundation have partnered to do our part to limit the virus’ spread. By creating and signing the In This Together Safety Pledge, we are promising to follow COVID-19 safety practices 24 hours a day, 7 days each week; to care for one another; to put our community first.

We are launching our first annual Make a Difference Day. Join us on Saturday, October 24, 9:00am-11:00am to volunteer in our local neighborhoods for a clean-up day. Volunteers are invited to sign up for park clean-up or street clean-up in the Navarino and Whitney Park neighborhood areas. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
