Carrots are also a perfect addition to your Wisconsin Chili Lunch! #WiChiliLunch
Select - Choose smooth and firm carrots with deep color
and fresh, green tops.
Store - Remove green tops and refrigerate in a plastic bag
for up to 2 weeks.
Prepare - Scrub under running water to remove dirt. Peel if
desired.
Buying fruits and vegetables when they are growing in
Wisconsin can reduce the cost of fresh produce. Carrots
can be stored into the winter!
