Hello Brown and NEW Region employees! We had a great turnout at our flu shot clinic this year! Here’s another option for getting your flu vaccines free of charge. Don’t forget to submit your flu vaccine form through our Red E app to be entered for a chance to win some extra cash!
Help us beat Influenza at work this year by getting your flu shot!
Brown County Public Health (BCPH) is reminding the public that during this unprecedented flu season it is extremely important that you get a flu vaccination. It is the single best way to protect yourself, your family and your community against the flu virus.
For the first time, BCPH will be offering drive-thru clinics on Thursday, October 22nd from 4 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at Edison Middle School and on Saturday, October 24th from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Green Bay West High School.
Vaccinations will be offered free of charge to community members age six months and older, but will be dependent on vaccine availability.
You can prevent COVID-19 and the flu together by simply following these steps to avoid getting sick:
•Wash your hands often with soap and water. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when you can’t wash.
•Cover your cough or sneeze with your upper sleeve and try to avoid touching your face with your hands. If you use a tissue, throw it away after one use.
•Use your own drinking cups and straws.
•Avoid contact with people who are sick with flu-like symptoms.
•Eat nutritious meals, get plenty of rest, and do not smoke.
•Frequently clean common surfaces (like doorknobs, refrigerator handles, telephones, and faucets).
•Wearing a mask and physically distancing (staying six feet apart from individuals not in your household or living unit) also prevent the spread of the flu.
Don't worry, be happy!
We would like to wish a warm welcome to Brandon, Latiesha, and Alexie!
