Hi everyone.

This note is to share with you that I am closing down Earthworm ecostore as you know it, an absolutely lovely store vibrating with the hopes of real people who live across the country each with their own set of dreams and their efforts to make them come true in the form of products under this roof.

As I write to you straight from my heart that is really what I loved most about Earthworm. Connecting with communities and the search within myself for sustainable worldly needs and finding that the solutions all existed out there.. a humbling, nourishing experience.

That is what Earthworm has been for me, a bridge that includes everyone and includes everything…from big ideals to a simple action, from organizations to individuals, from the grandiosity of “saving the planet” to “what do I want to change right now in my life?”. For me, it cut out all the “should, ought to” jargon to a “ just do it”.

And I want to thankyou for being a part of this journey, for encouraging, supporting the store. Thankyou to the many who looked and looked and looked for the store and didn’t give up until they found our little hideaway… for many of you who bounced into the store with your excitement of finding our potpourri offering you the options you have been looking for. You kept this store going in the many times that it seems like it was going downhill.

After this dramatic sharing if you are wondering why on earth am I closing down Earthworm… It is because I have embarked on another journey..following my bliss.. Moving from products into the work of healing inner spaces.

Thankyou for your support.. absolutely . always. For coming, shopping and telling others. Earthworm has indeed run only by word of mouth and media support which came from their enthusiasm. We have not put a single penny in marketing. I am so proud of this.

So much gratitude to my “suppliers” who span this beautiful country’s different landscapes.. the heart of the store, for their work and the lessons of life that I have learnt from them.

To my folks, especially my dad… a mining giant who funded the “ecostore” because he loves me and shopped enthusiastically because he loved the products and my work… he is my reminder that life is not lived in black and white.

I am planning to hold a few exhibitions in various places to sell this beautiful work.. Do look out for these.

Dear Friends,
The Festival of Spring is around the corner. Earthworm ecostore once again brings you a natural range of holi colours Rang Dulaar to celebrate with this joyous festival with your loved ones.
Rang Dulaar colours are completely natural and have been made using turmeric, rice flour and dried flowers as fillers and natural colours of plant extracts of nirgudi, Glyricidea, Indigo, lemon juice, madder extract, hibiscus etc.
These colours have been laboratory tested and rendered 100% safe for use for adults and children.
The producers of the colour are women who grow the ingredients in their backyard farms in Sirsi, Karnataka. They are packed by the Yerawada jail inmates. This entire effort is the initiative of Pune based social enterprise Eco-exist.
This year they are available in a 250 gm pack ( five assorted colours ,each weighing 50gm ) of red, blue, green, yellow and orange.
