While waiting for agencies to rally with emergency aid, we are bringing people together to assist those in IMMEDIATE need of hay, feed and fencing supplies in our storm-ravaged communities.

I just got a message from a reliable source in Poplar NC that hay is desperately needed. It can be delivered to the Poplar Community Center for distribution. We will take a load there Friday morning. If anyone else can donate some hay and go with us to deliver it, please let me know. Thank you!

While we know the Ag Agency is working on setting up aid for those in need of hay, feed and fencing supplies, we as a community need to come together to address IMMEDIATE needs for our neighbors. Please comment what you can donate right now to feed and contain livestock, and what you are in need of and we will put the donors and recipients together in an organized way so needs are met. We will not be storing hay, feed or supplies at this time but will connect people so they can develop a plan to get what they need. We ARE NOT looking to replace all the winter hay that has been lost but rather WHAT IS NEEDED NOW.
