Maddux For City Council I'm Ryan Maddux and in the future I might run again for a political office.

But for now I'm using this page to talk about local political issue affecting the residents of Greensburg and Decatur County.

Thanks for all the phone calls, texts, messages and comments that we continue to receive. Those words of encouragement mean a lot to our family. A big thanks goes out to all those who supported this campaign and voted for me. I don't know what my political future holds but we will continue to serve this community and fight to make it the best town that it can be. Katherine woke up this morning and said she was still sad about the election. I told her it's alright to feel sad. Life goes on and we'll be alright. We live in a great community.

Political party affiliation and loyalty are important to many people. But I've always tended to believe that when it comes to local elections most people vote for the person regardless of party. In a local election one knows the person because you see them at church, at the supermarket or at basketball game. I also tend to think that in most of our local elections we have good candidates on both sides. When it comes down to it, it's not always an easy choice. Only two candidates standing in the cold to greet absentee voters on this Saturday before Election Day. Make sure your vote counts. Re-elect Mayor Dan Manus and vote Ryan Maddux into City Council office. Through rain, snow or hail - you can count on Maddux and Manus without fail.

I'm running for City Council District One. This includes districts one and two. So if you live in one of the other six districts in town you will not have the opportunity to vote for me. But chances are, you probably know of someone that lives in district one or two. Please tell them to consider Ryan Maddux for Greensburg City Council. And I appreciate the support no matter what district you happen to live in.
