PULLERS AND PULLING FANS

Be sure to go and support The Sewickley Township Community Fair this week!

We’ll be there Wednesday night with our sled for 5,500-8,500 tractors. They will be also be having Garden Tractor Pulls Tuesday and percentage concrete pulls on Thursday. Along with Truck pulls Friday and 9,500-18,500 tractors on Saturday.

It’s a great little fair and a great place to spend time during the week. Make sure to come out and enjoy the shows this week!

To our incredible volunteers who spend countless hours preparing the grounds, working the track, helping in the trailer, setting up, cleaning up, and doing all the behind-the-scenes jobs that often go unnoticed—you are the heart of our fair. ❤️

To our exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, participants, and every member of our community (and those who travel from outside our community to join us)—thank you for your continued support. We truly couldn’t put on this fair each year without every one of you.

Unfortunately due to the high forecast of rain on Saturday we will be canceling the July 18th pull. Plans of rescheduling are in the works, rain date TBH.

Our Jackpot class will still be at our next pull.

$10 admission, kids 10 and under are FREE

$25 Hook Fee for non members, $20 for members.

🛻 This time we will be experimenting with a Truck Vs Tractor Class. 🚜

Payouts will be as follows:
Furthest Tractor will receive $400
Furthest Truck will receive $400
Farthest hook overall will receive a bonus $200.

🚩TRACTORS CAN RUN DOUBLE CUT TIRES🚩

With the much appreciated feedback we have made a few changes to the class. We will let tractors run double cut tires and at 9,500 lbs. And we have received $500 extra dollars for the prize money. Reminder that both a truck and tractor will receive atleast $400 but which ever one pulls the farthest will receive the bonus $200.

For the RWYB Truck vs tractor class, what would everyone think about making tractors weight 9,500. And should we make it top cut only or allow double cut tires. And what about a tire size limit for tractors. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts.

Just a reminder that tomorrow’s club meeting is now Located at Hunker VFD, address is 468 Walnut Ave, Hunker, PA 15639.

Meeting will be held at 7:00. Anyone interested in volunteering their help for our next pull is encouraged to come to this meeting. Hope to see y’all there.

Attention club members and volunteers! Our Club meetings will be held at a NEW LOCATION.

This meting will reflect on our June 20th pull and we will discuss plans for our July 18th pull.

We are in desperate need for volunteers, simple tasks as in running the scale, lining up trucks and tractors, flagging and hooking/unhooking make the night move much smoother. Anyone interested in volunteering are recommended to come to this upcoming meeting.

Despite the unexpected downpour we were able to get the first pull of the year in the books. I want to personally thank everyone who volunteered their time to help and those who stuck out the rain and stayed to pull. I also want to thank Forrester farm equipment & Hoober Inc for the donation of a roller and scraper tractor. I hope to see everyone and more back at the next pull July 18th.
