We are a family-oriented organization. If your children/grandchildren attend school in Wayne County, you will be close enough to attend school functions and see all that you have been missing working those long 12-hour shifts.

These will be for the mandatory shots required for 8th and 12th graders. The clinic will be held at the High School nurse's office. Students can pick up paperwork in Nurse Tenna Libla's office.

The Wayne County Health Center will be doing Covid vaccines in the office by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Friday, April 9th, Missouri is opening phase 3 and the vaccine will be eligible to anyone over age 18 (we have the Moderna vaccine).

We are in need of volunteers (medical professionals and non-medical professionals) for our next COVID vaccine clinic that is on Wednesday, March 24th from 8:30am-3pm at Trinity United Methodist Church in Piedmont.
Licensed medical professionals will need an ACTIVE unencumbered license in the state of Missouri.

The Wayne County Health Center will be hosting a second COVID vaccine clinic on Wednesday, March 24th from 8:30am-3pm at Trinity United Methodist Church in Piedmont. This will be the second vaccine for those that received their first Moderna vaccine on February 24th, and we will also have appointments available for people to receive their first vaccine while spots remain available.

Missouri is currently vaccinating phases 1A and 1B tiers 1 & 2.
Phase 1A includes: patient-facing health care workers and long-term care facility residents & staff.
Phase 1B tier 1 includes: first responders, emergency management and public works, emergency services sector, non-patient facing health infrastructure.
Phase 1B tier 2 includes: anyone age 65 or older, any adults with an underlying medical condition (COPD, heart conditions, type 2 diabetes, weakened immune system, obesity, chronic kidney disease, and individuals with any intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

The state of Missouri is opening phase 1B tier 3 on March 15th. Those in this tier will be able to schedule an appointment on March 24th for their first vaccine.
Phase 1B tier 3 includes: education workers (teachers, faculty, and staff in public, private, and nonprofit pre K –12) , childcare (daycare) staff, communications infrastructure, dams & energy sector, government workers, information technology, nuclear reactor sector, transportation systems, water & wastewater systems, and the food/agriculture sector (food production and processing facilities, related operations, prioritizing mass food production, distribution, transportation, wholesale and retail sales, including grocery and convenience stores where groceries are sold).

YOU MUST MEET ONE OF THE ABOVE CRITERIA TO RECEIVE A VACCINE ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24th.
