🇺🇸 A Solemn Honor

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office had the honor of joining the Greenville Police Department, Greenville Fire Department, and Enterprise Rescue in escorting Mr. Landon Dunn, a United States Marine, home to Butler County to be laid to rest.

Landon was making his way home to visit his family when his life was tragically cut short. Instead of the homecoming his family had been awaiting, our community came together to honor him as he made his final journey home.

It was a deeply humbling privilege to be a part of that journey and to pay tribute to a young man who chose to serve our country. We ask our community to keep the Dunn family, his fellow Marines, and all those who knew and loved Landon in their prayers.

Welcome home, Marine. Your service is honored, your life is remembered, and your legacy will not be forgotten.

May God bring comfort, strength, and peace to the Dunn family in the difficult days ahead. 🇺🇸
