Hunt County Sheriff's Posse

Hunt County Sheriff's Posse The Hunt County Sheriff's Posse, was est. in 1994. We are located in Greenville, Texas. We are civilian volunteers using horses to promote Hunt County.

The Hunt County Sheriff's Posse is made up from a group of volunteer members who are dedicated in serving our community. Our main focus is search and rescue however you will also see the Posse participating in ceremonies, parades, trail rides and assisting local authorities in patrolling special events. We take great pride in being involved with the community and assisting where and whenever needed.

HCSP FUN-draiser. 🤩 Today was so much fun. 🤠Thank you to everyone that came out and participated. We had folks from Weatherford (The Rutherford Family), Tarrant County Sheriffs Posse, 40SCG Wylie, 40SCG Farmersville, 40SCG Benbrook, Briar Creek Hounds, a local rescue (sorry I forgot the name) and Rockwall Sheriffs Posse.

We did desensitization to K9 bark, fire, flags, drags, push sled, tunnels, gunfire, noise, obstacles of varying height, obstacles of different colors and unlevel surfaces, bridges, flaming hot horse/cowboy, mailbox, hula hoops, smoke, winddancer and so much more.

Our mystery obstacle was a Haunted House tunnel. It was so awesome.

Busy few days for HCSP.
Practice with a Lot of New riders and 2 Hunt County Sheriffs Deputies. Learned Formation Riding and Tactical Formations. Awesome job by all these new folks. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤠

Today we had 2 groups working an all day security detail at the Band Competition at Lone Oak Football 🏈 Stadium. Great group of band kiddos today - parents you should really be proud 🤩 of these kids, well behaved, great manners and they really ❤️ the horses 🐴.

And we ate some excellent quesadilla from Pelons taco 🌮 truck. Didn’t get to try the other two food trucks but they had lines of folks too. 🫶🏼

The posse riders are tired 🥱 😴 and the horses 🐴 are too.
Thanks for letting us support our kids and community today. We love you guys. Super proud of all the band 🥁🎹🪊🪈🎶 kids they all sounded awesome. 👏🏼
