🌊 UWDC represents at the Connecticut River Valley Navy Week Kickoff! 🌊

Undersea Warfighting Development Center (UWDC) is proud to share that our very own Commander had the distinct honor of serving as the guest speaker at the inaugural Connecticut River Valley Navy Week Kickoff at the Big E! 🇺🇸

Delivering inspiring and heartfelt words, the Commander highlighted the importance of service, teamwork, and innovation in the Navy’s mission to protect our nation’s interests, particularly in the undersea domain. The event took a truly special turn as he officiated the swearing-in of 16 of America’s best and brightest future Sailors, marking the start of their incredible Navy journey. These new recruits embody the courage, dedication, and spirit that will carry the Navy’s legacy forward.

We’re thrilled to have been part of this momentous occasion, celebrating our Navy’s connection to the community and welcoming the next generation of warfighters.

Undersea Warfighting Development Center (UWDC) is proud to have hosted NATO FORACS members, and share in a remarkable opportunity to strengthen ties with our NATO allies and advance undersea excellence!

For those unfamiliar, NATO FORACS—Naval Forces Sensor and Weapons Accuracy Check Sites—is a multinational NATO initiative launched in 1974. It provides critical testing and evaluation to ensure the precision of sensors, weapons systems, and electronic warfare tools across Allied navies. Hosted at premier facilities like ours, FORACS verifies performance in real-world conditions, from radar calibration to torpedo accuracy, ensuring NATO forces remain mission-ready in the complex maritime domain.
