🧡🖤Our August Kindness Crew event is here… and we can’t wait for this one!🖤🧡

This month we’re turning our attention to one of nature’s most incredible (and vulnerable) creatures; the monarch butterfly.

Join us for Wings of Kindness as we explore the incredible world of monarchs together! We’ll learn:
🧡 Why monarch butterflies are endangered
🧡 Their amazing life cycle and migration
🧡 Responsible conservation practices
🧡 Simple, meaningful ways each of us can help protect these amazing pollinators right here in our own community.

And because we always love to leave with something we can do, everyone will get to make their own wildflower seed bombs to take home and plant. It’s a fun, hands-on way to create more pollinator-friendly spaces and help monarchs and other beneficial insects thrive.

We’ll also have snacks and light refreshments to enjoy while we learn and create together!

Whether you’re a butterfly enthusiast, love nature, want to make a difference, or are simply looking for a fun afternoon with kind people, we’d love to have you there. Kids, adults, families, friends- everyone is welcome!

Kindness isn’t just about how we treat each other. It’s also about how we care for the world around us. We hope you’ll come learn, create, snack, and leave inspired to make a difference.

💚 We want to take a moment to shine a spotlight on an organization doing some truly incredible work in our community: KindHelp.

Their mission is one we deeply admire because it goes beyond simply encouraging people to “be kind.” They’re creating spaces where people can learn how to build stronger relationships, foster meaningful connections, and create kinder, more connected communities.

On Saturday, July 18, they’re hosting their first annual Kindness Conference at The Junto in Columbus, and it sounds like such a thoughtful and unique experience.

This isn’t your typical conference with speakers and PowerPoint presentations. Instead, the day is centered around conversations, guided activities, relationship-building, and practical tools that people can take back to their neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, organizations, and everyday lives.

One of the things we appreciate most is their commitment to accessibility. While registration helps cover the venue and catered meals, they also offer pay-what-you-can tickets starting at $20 because they believe cost shouldn’t keep someone from participating.

Organizations like KindHelp remind us that building a kinder world doesn’t happen by accident, it happens when people intentionally come together, learn from one another, and choose community.

If you’re passionate about kindness, connection, and making a positive impact, we encourage you to check them out and consider attending.

Thank you, KindHelp, for the work you’re doing to help make our communities stronger, kinder, and more connected. We’re cheering you on! 💚

As the weather heats up and you find yourself thinking about how hot it is outside, let’s take a moment to appreciate the people who don’t get to escape it ☀️☀️☀️

Our mail carriers, trash and recycling crews, landscapers, road crews, utility workers, delivery drivers, and so many others spend hours working in the blazing sun to keep our communities running.

This week, let’s make it our Kindness Challenge to show them a little appreciation.

💚Wave and say thank you.
💚 Offer a cold bottle of water.
💚 Leave a kind note or a cold sports drink for your mail carrier or delivery driver.
💚 Teach your kids to thank the people who work hard to serve our community.

A small act of kindness can make a long, hot day a little brighter.

If you take part in this challenge, we’d love to hear about it or see a photo in the comments! Let’s remind the people who work tirelessly in the heat that their efforts don’t go unnoticed.

❤️ Kindness is contagious. Let’s spread some this week.

What an incredible night. 🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Loud, Proud and KIND-A Off Key Pride Karaoke celebration! We had an amazing turnout, so many smiling faces, lots of laughter, great music, and a room full of people choosing kindness, community, and joy.

Events like this don’t happen without a team of people willing to give their time, talents, and hearts. Thank you to every volunteer who helped set up, decorate, run activities, serve mocktails and snacks, clean up, and simply showed up to make everyone feel welcome. You made this event possible.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, sang your heart out, cheered each other on, donated, shared the event, or stopped by to say hello. Your support means so much and helps us continue creating spaces where everyone belongs.

Last night was a beautiful reminder of what our community can be when we come together with kindness and acceptance. We are so grateful to have shared it with all of you.

Thank you for making our first Pride Karaoke such a success.

We already can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🌈🎤🏳️‍🌈
