The Joint Project Manager for Elimination (JPM-E) is an element of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense and provides the Department of Defense and other stakeholders with capabilities that include development and fielding of assessment and destruction technologies for weapons of mass destruction (WMD); prevention of proliferation of WMD materiel; and contamination management encompassing a broad range of solutions.

Acting Undersecretary of the Army Eric Fanning visited with the 20th CBRNE Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground yesterday to learn more about the unique Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) missions of the 22nd Chemical Battalion (Technical Es**rt) and CBRNE Analytical and Remediation Activity, or CARA.
