GURNEE DAYS PARADE - August 10th

The Village of Gurnee and Gurnee Park District will be celebrating Gurnee Days with the annual Parade on Sunday, August 10th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00p.m.

The parade will begin on Old Grand Avenue at the intersection of Greenleaf Street at 12:00 p.m. and head west until Emerald Ave. The parade will end at Emerald Ave.

The parade will impact traffic and access to addresses along Old Grand Avenue and several neighborhood streets from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Traffic control officers will be in place during the event. Plan travel times through the area accordingly.

The Exchange Club of Gurnee has been serving Gurnee since 1975 and on Saturday, August 9th, we'll also be serving Ribs and Drinks!

And back by popular demand, the bar will be open on Sunday, August 10th as well, this year at 11am! So be sure to stop by for your pre-parade Bloody Mary!

Ribfest is one of our best attended and biggest fundraisers of the year. Proceeds from this event (and many others we put on throughout the year) go directly to support local programs, including student scholarships and donations to local non-profit organizations.

So come on out and enjoy the weekend with us, while also supporting the community, win win!
