Yesterday we celebrated our second grade students with a special Bubble Parade send-off! Led by our amazing “Parade Marshals,” retirees Mrs. Quiñones and Mrs. Klode, students were surrounded by cheers, bubbles, smiles, and lots of well wishes as they wrapped up their Spaulding School journey. Wishing all of our second graders an amazing next chapter as they move onto third grade!

And just like that, the last bus pulled away, marking the end of the 2025–2026 school year. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for another unforgettable year!

A huge thank you to Mother Nature for providing the perfect weather for an unforgettable Field Day! Thank you as well to our 100+ parent volunteers and dedicated staff members who helped make the day run smoothly. Most importantly, thank you to Mr. Sator and Mr. Spangler for all of their planning, organization, and for pouring their heart and soul into making Field Day such a special experience for our students. And of course, thank you to all of the students whose smiles, laughter, energy, and excitement made today one to remember.

Kindergarten Kindness Club, led by Ms. Lopez, met weekly throughout the year to participate in activities focused on kindness, friendship, and helping others. This month, students put their kindness into action by creating thoughtful thank you cards for our School Resource Officers, Officer Thomas and Officer Gullifor, as a way to show appreciation for all they do for our school community. Small acts of kindness can make a big impact!

Today’s Growth Parade was a celebration of progress, perseverance, and achievement! Students proudly shared the growth they have made throughout the year, reminding us that hard work truly pays off. We loved celebrating all of their accomplishments!

IMPORTANT NEWS about the rest of the school year...

🔴 Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27th, is a Late Start. Students will want to arrive on time, by 9:45 a.m., so they can participate in the Spaulding School Growth Parade. Please review details about the parade in last week's Spaulding Speaks newsletter https://app.smore.com/n/bepau-friday-may-22-2026
🔴 This Friday, May 29th, will NOT be an Early Dismissal.
🔴 Afternoon dismissal will begin at 3:20 p.m.
🔴 There WILL be Early Dismissal on Monday-Wednesday of next week, June 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
🔴 Afternoon dismissal will begin at 2:20 p.m. on the Early Release days.
🔴 Wednesday, June 3rd, will NOT be a late start.

Last night marked the final PTO meeting of the school year! We are so grateful for our amazing PTO and all they do to support our students, staff, and school community throughout the year.
