As we enter this season of Memorail Day, let us not forget why we as Americans recognize it. The cost of freedom was payed by the lives of many. Freedom has never been free and comes with a cost more valuable than money.
I ask that you celebrate it responsibly for those that gave the ultimate sacrifice.

This, no doubt has been a tough week for us Oklahomans. A couple of our deputies, (Brett Welldon and Steven Haga) were called to assist with a horse that had walked onto a frozen pond and fell thru the ice.
After a couple hours, deputies and citizens together, were able to cut thru the ice and get the horse to land. I cannot say enough about the men and women that serve Logan County. This is just one of the many rescues that were conducted by your deputies.
