Lawd they done messed around & let me get a bike🚴🏾‍♂️ ... it’s on and poppin!

Fun Fact: In 1996, at the age of 7, I was hit by a car & hospitalized (for less than 24 hrs). No serious injuries but I did have over 15 stitches, couldn’t walk without assistance for a few days & my dad had to sacrifice & miss work for a week. I would say I was “traumatized” but I’d be lying. I fixed my bike & started back riding a little over a week later. Before all of this happened my dad yelled at me demanding that I go in the house. As a hard headed kid I went in the house only to put on my helmet & ride my bike. Little did I know I’d end up in an ambulance truck 🚑 about 20 minutes later!

My Hot “L”(Lesson): My muva used to always say “son, obedience is better than sacrifice” but I didn’t understand that until I was disobedient to the demands of my fava. 1 Samuel 15:22 declares “To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.” Moral of the story is if I’d been obedient when asked to go in the house, my dad would’ve never had to sacrifice losing funds to stay home with me as I recovered. Always learn to listen even when you don’t truly understand. 😉

I prayed for times like this and I’ve witnessed God prune and prep His finest young Soldier for wars and battles that leave scars, but never end in defeat! All of the pain that I had to go through gave power and a testimony but most of all......PURPOSE!

Honored to have the opportunity to spread truth, testimonies, challenges, adversities and REALITY to the student bodies of Ripley and Booneville High Schools. Honestly I can't find the words to express how it feels to see things you've prayed for and visualized come to reality. All I can say is I'm blessed and it's all God's fault 🤷🏾‍♂️. More to come!
