We have completed our latest project of restoring the worn out benches located at Haddon Heights Cannon Park War Memorial and we couldn't be more happy with how they turned out! We can't wait to do more for the Parks Department of Haddon Heights and we are looking forward to more projects like this in the future. Proud member of Sons Of South Jersey, Tyler Orlando couldn't be more excited to be part of our bench restoration project at the Haddon Heights Cannon Park War Memorial. Many of our members have family and friends that have served our country or currently serve, like Tyler's brother. This makes this project extra special for us. Special thanks to all those who have served, do serve, and will serve, we thank you for our freedom!

SOSJ President and Leader Drew Conway is the one that makes it happen. Keeping up relations with our local politicians and prominent community figures. After meeting with former police Chief Richard Kinkler and discussing a few things that could be done to improve the Parks Department of Haddon Heights, it was decided that Sons of South Jersey would donate our time and resources to restoring the park benches located in the well known Cannon Park War Memorial. Here's a shot of drew making it happen and getting down and dirty to get it done.

Local small business owner/woodworker and proud member of Sons of South Jersey Daniel Knoll working on replacement pieces for some benches at the local Cannon Park in Haddon Heights. We noticed the benches where in disarray and reached out to the local municipality about getting involved. Soon there will be two new benches in the war memorial at Cannon Park. We couldn't be more proud to be out here in Camden today helping out families in need. Shout out to everybody that helped make this Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway possible! We put together over 350 baskets!

This year the Sons of South Jersey Sponsored a hole at the 14th Annual Mickey Gallagher Golf Outing to raise organ donor awareness. It is estimated that over 120,000 people in the United States are waiting for organ transplants. You can find out more and sign up to be an organ donor at www.organdonor.gov. They say just one organ donor can save up to eight lives! We are so proud to be a part of an event with such a great purpose. Can't wait till next year! Thank you so much to everyone who came out for the Dine and Donate for Team Keep S'MYELINs WALK FOR MS!It is always great to see such support from family and friends!

An awesome time was had by all, and we raised over $1,500!

Please stay tuned for upcoming event from the Sons of South Jersey. Seeing a great turn out and being able to help host and raise money for a good cause is why we decided to form this group, and that certainly happened this week!
