It is with enormous hearts that and I announce the closing of Contigo. We have made a personal decision to focus our full attention on our family and our new restaurant Barceloneta Restaurant in downtown Santa Cruz. Contigo’s final dinner service will be this Saturday, November 17.

It’s been nearly ten years since we opened our doors in Noe Valley. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the support our many friends, fans and regulars have shown us over the years. We are thankful we could host your engagement dinners, weddings, birthdays, reunions, New Year’s Eve parties and late-night churro calls. To the guests that trusted us with your first dates, your marriage proposals, your newborns, we thank you. To those that have honorary bar stools, that know all the servers’ names, that stop to thank the cooks individually, we adore you.

We are especially grateful to our wonderful team who, over the years, have become our family. You have been kind, heartfelt, driven, funny, thoughtful, compassionate and hard-working. You represent the best of the Bay Area. We thank you for being the face of Contigo. We are proud to have worked with you and value your contributions to each dinner service.

We are honored to have formed close relationships with amazing farmers, fishermen, butchers, bakers, brewers and wine reps. We look forward to continuing to work with you at Barceloneta Restaurant starting early next year.

We cannot thank every one of our friends and supporters enough. We sincerely hope to see you all in the next few days at Contigo and for years to come at Barceloneta Restaurant!
