Subject Arrested For Disseminating N**e Photos Following Months Long Investigation

Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that on November 10, 2025, detectives received a report that twenty-four (24) year old Aric Martin had disseminated n**e photographs of his ex-husband through social media.

The images were sent to members of the victim’s family in Lemon Township and were believed to have been distributed during an ongoing divorce between the two parties.

Following an extensive investigation that included social media subpoenas and search warrants, the case was presented to the Butler County Grand Jury. Martin was subsequently indicted on one count of Nonconsensual Dissemination of Private Sexual Images, a felony of the fifth degree.

On May 29, 2026, Martin was located and arrested in Falmouth, Kentucky, by members of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division and the U.S. Marshals Service Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). Martin was booked into the Grant County Detention Center and is awaiting extradition to Butler County to answer for the charge.

"You can run, you can hide, and you can cross state lines, but sooner or later we're going to find you," said Sheriff Jones. "This arrest proves that time and distance don't protect criminals from accountability. We don't care where you go—we will track you down, we will catch up to you, and we will bring you back to face justice."

Interesting Recovery by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Unit

Earlier this month, Butler County Sheriff's Office Bomb Specialist Grimes responded to Hamilton after an unusual discovery was made during the cleanout of a deceased family member's belongings.

The items recovered were two boxes of black powder pellets, containing a total of 20 pellets with a combined net explosive weight of approximately 1.37 pounds. Based on the labeling, the pellets were manufactured in June 1963.

These black powder pellets were not designed for small arms ammunition. Instead, they served as an intermediate ignition charge used in large artillery systems. Their purpose was to help ignite the main smokeless powder propellant charge used in massive naval guns and other large-caliber artillery pieces, including those found aboard battleships.

While these items are more than 60 years old, explosive materials can remain hazardous regardless of age. The Bomb Unit safely recovered and disposed of the materials without incident.

If you discover old military ordnance, explosives, blasting materials, or other suspicious items while cleaning out a home, garage, or estate, do not handle them.

Contact local law enforcement and allow trained personnel to assess the situation.

Two Suspects Arrested Following Liberty Township Shooting

Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that on June 1, 2026, at approximately 5:30 a.m., deputies responded to Lakota Pointe Lane in Liberty Township for a reported fight involving shots fired.

Upon arrival, deputies located an adult Hispanic male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to West Chester Medical Center for treatment.

During the investigation, detectives learned that two suspects, LKA West 72nd Street Cincinnati, had fled the scene in separate vehicles. Through investigative efforts, both suspects were located in Miami Township, Montgomery County, and taken into custody.

Twenty-five (25) year old Hispanic Male Yeferson Perez was arrested and charged with:

• Felonious Assault (F2)
• Improperly Discharging a Firearm into a Habitation (F2)
• Tampering with Evidence (F3)

Twenty-four (24) year old Hispanic Female Marbella Robiero was arrested and charged with:

• Tampering with Evidence (F3)

Both suspects are also being held on ICE detainers due to their illegal status in the United States.

"It's bad enough that we have to deal with homegrown criminals. We shouldn't have to worry about these Hispanic suspects, in this country illegally, committing violent crimes in our neighborhoods. Butler County is not going to be a safe haven for anyone who thinks they can come here, break the law, shoot people, and get away with it. We caught them, they're in jail, and now they can answer for their actions," states Sheriff Jones.

The investigation remains ongoing.
