This early afternoon 9/4/2026 around 1 pm. E202 with St. Clair Twp. - New Miami Life Squad responded to the 2200 block of Wayne Madison Rd for a vehicle fire. M231 was the first arriving unit which advised of a working vehicle fire. E202 arrived on scene and deployed a front bumper line for fire suppression. The fire was quickly brought under control and units remained on scene for traffic control and clean up.

Last evening 9/3/2026 around 10 pm. LT202, E202, E201, and BR201, with mutual aid from Hamilton Fire Department , responded to the 300 block of Warwick Rd for a single vehicle MVA. LT202 arrived on scene and upgraded the MVA to an entrapment. E202 and M21 arrived on scene and began patient care and extrication. Units quickly extricated the single occupant and began transport to a local hospital. We would like to thank our mutual aid partners for their assistance.

Friendly Reminder

As part of training, controlled explosives will be utilized today Wednesday 09/02/26 from approximately 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the BCSO Bomb Range near Woodsdale MetroPark in southern Madison Township.

Residents in the surrounding area may hear several loud explosions during this time. These are controlled detonations being conducted as part of law enforcement training.

There is no cause for alarm and no action is required by the public.

We received confirmation from a motorist today that the Taylor School railroad crossing, as well as the crossing at US 127, was closed today. We will try to get more information from NS and share what we learn.

We have checked out the crossings and spoken with the railmaster in St. Clair Township. The railmaster confirmed that NS will not close Fear Not Mills Rd while Spring Rd and Mill St are closed, which are tentatively set to reopen on Wednesday.
