Saturday night Rose Hurley and board members Kristi Simmons Waldroff and Peter Engelhard Jr. attended the Emergency Money Fund gala. EMF helps neighbors facing an urgent financial crisis cover short-term needs so they can stay safe, stable, and moving forward. It Takes a Village supports this kind of community-centered response by helping connect people, resources, and hope when families are one unexpected expense away from falling behind. We look forward to working with them in the future.

Hamilton, this is what community and connecting is all about.

On Saturday, May 30th, we encourage our Village to show up for The Giveback Gala: Dancing for Dave, a fundraiser supporting Dave Ferguson and his family as he faces Stage IV colorectal cancer.

All proceeds from the evening will go directly to Dave and Lauren to help ease the financial burden during treatment.

Join the community at Municipal Brew Works at Spooky Nook from 7PM to 11PM for DJ and dancing, raffle baskets, split-the-pot, a silent auction, light snacks, and a night full of love and support.

Dress to impress in your best prom attire and join us in showing support for Dave and his family. Whether you purchase a ticket, share the event, bring friends, or donate a raffle basket, every act of support helps make this evening meaningful.

At It Takes a Village, we believe no one should have to walk through hard things alone. This is a chance for Hamilton to come together, lift up a neighbor, and remind one family just how deeply this community cares.

Concert for a Cause Bryttan’s Battalion

It Takes A Village is proud to support Concert for a Cause and Bryttan’s Battalion through this year’s community fundraising effort.

Our Founder and Director, Rose Marie Hurley, will be participating in a playful charity “lockup” on April 18 to help raise funds and awareness for this meaningful cause. While the theme is fun, the mission behind it is very real. This event is an opportunity to come together, show support, and make a positive impact for organizations doing important work in our community.

We would be honored to have our village rally behind Rose by donating, sharing, and helping spread the word. Every contribution helps turn a lighthearted event into meaningful support for a cause that matters.

Thank you for continuing to show what is possible when a community comes together with compassion, generosity, and purpose.

Thank you again to Chrissy Angel for using her birthday celebration to raise funds and awareness for The Village. It was an amazing day and we also had the opportunity to interact with another great pub crawl featuring the CinCity Shakers at Municipal Brew Works! This is why we love this community.
