I had a great time last night at Southeastern’s home opener! I have so many great memories throughout my life at Strawberry Stadium and it’s always a joy to be in that atmosphere.

It was a bit of a rough start for our Lions but I’m confident they’ll check and adjust to correct the things that aren’t working and do more of the things that are. A successful season requires dusting yourself off after a tough loss sometimes, so you can learn, grow, and come back stronger than before.

I believe we need the same thing for the City of Hammond. Our leaders should always be looking to address and change the things that aren’t working for our community and looking to build on the things that are our strengths. That’s exactly what I intend to do if elected.

Today we celebrated our daughter Elizabeth’s first birthday, and I can’t help but think about how much she has changed the way I look at the future. 💗

She is a big part of the reason I decided to run for Hammond City Council. Becoming a dad has made me think even more about the kind of community we are building—not just for Elizabeth, but for all of our children.

I want Hammond to be a place where our kids can grow up safe, proud of where they’re from, surrounded by opportunity, and one day choose to raise families of their own.

Happy 1st Birthday to the little girl who gives me an even bigger reason to work for a better future. 🎂💕

Had a great time at Chillin’ with the Chamber! It was a fun evening supporting the Tangipahoa Chamber, visiting with friends and neighbors, and getting to sample some incredible food from our local restaurants.

Events like this are a great reminder of just how much our local businesses bring to our community. Thank you to the Tangipahoa Chamber and all of the restaurants and businesses that made the evening such a success!

As a proud alumnus of Southeastern I couldn’t agree more with this ranking (though I may be somewhat biased). Some of my fondest and most formative memories were made during my times on Southeastern’s beautiful campus. Southeastern is a true Treasure to our City that’s worth investing in for the future prosperity of our children and community.
