It's not too late to take advantage of this opportunity and have your own legacy portrait AND support a local photographer with Down syndrome in sharpening her skills with Bob Harper!

October is Down Syndrome Awareness month, and, in recognition of that, we are sponsoring a campaign to support the Down Syndrome Association of Hampton Roads. We are also introducing to the area Stefanie Ward, who has been my apoprentice for several months. She is a resident of Virginia Beach and is a very accomplished photographer. She will be assisting me during this October campaign and doing some of her own work with selected subjects. We believe that Stefanie will be an outstanding Special Needs Portrait Artist and Photographer serving the Hampton Roads area. Here is a flyer that outlines our October campaign:

People with disabilities can't go back to 'normal' after COVID. We need better.

"We want to look ahead to a society that treats people with disabilities better than before – a society where every voice matters, every decision is honored, and everyone has the services they need. To create this society, we will need real policy change that invests in supporting disabled people in our communities, not locking us away." Must-read, powerful op-ed by Chris Jorwic and Julia Bascom

Congress has a chance to make sure people with disabilities can always get the support we need safely in our own homes – and we need them to deliver.
