Literacy in the Upper Valley

Literacy in the Upper Valley To increase children's chances of success, we need to develop a love of reading and learning at an early age.

Many children today: 1) don't have access to books, 2) someone who can read to them (especially before they can read themselves). Literacy in the Upper Valley (LUV) hopes to address these two challenges and show these children how exciting and fun it can be! We are collecting books for children and holding "reading events" at which our volunteers will read to or with them. The children get to take

home the books that they read at the event or swap it out for another book to take home. To donate $ so LUV can purchase books for kids - PayPal to [email protected]. To donate books, email [email protected] for more information.
