Over a year ago, we began testing external carriers as an alternative to the traditional duty belt. Our goal was simple but important: reduce the weight and strain placed on our officers’ waists and hips during long shifts. This initiative was driven by a commitment to improving officer safety, comfort, and overall well-being while helping lower the risk of injury. We are proud to announce that this project is now complete. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the generous support of our community partners. He is known to frequent the Hanover and northern Carroll County, MD areas.
