Linda Douglas, from the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Assault came to JFHQ to facilitate a sexual assault trauma informed training last week.

Linda has a special way of explaining how and why the brain works under pressure. This can better explain why we react they way we do during and after a traumatic event.

We were lucky to have her come in and share her knowledge of working directly with victims and how we can do our best as we continue to advocate for those who have experienced sexual trauma.
