Today a joint investigation between Harrisburg Police and the Bureau of Alcohol To***co and Fi****ms (ATF) was unsealed to announce Federal charges against four men indicted on supplying and trafficking illegal guns to known convicted felons throughout the City through illegal straw purchasing.

Thank you for a wonderful event had a great time
The National Night Out event at Camp Curtin was nice. The fireworks were great not only bc I could sit on my back porch and watch, I thought, as my many of my neighbors did as well, it was a better show then what is put on by the city on 4th of July. Nice job!!!! Please next time have candy apples (red candy) and cotton candy. I need to get my diabetes on🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Harrisburg Bureau of Police would like to invite you to our 3rd Annual National Night Out event next Tuesday, August 3rd from 5:00 – 9:00pm at the Camp Curtin Academy Football Field at 2900 N 6th Street. National Night Out is an annual event where communities across the country connect with law enforcement. The focus of National Night Out is to get neighborhoods actively involved in preventing crime in their community. National Night Out is FREE and open for everyone to attend! This is a great opportunity to meet police officers, fire fighters, other emergency personnel, and over fifty community partners - in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Enjoy FREE Rita’s Italian Ice, Farm Show Milkshakes, food, drinks, games, giant inflatables, giveaways and so much more. This year’s event will feature a live concert by Harrisburg’s own, “The Singer’s Lounge,” music by DJ Godfather Cornell Corley, a special performance by the Harrisburg High School Cheerleaders, and the landing and display of a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter. We will feature a FULL-SCALE FIREWORKS display sponsored by First National Bank of PA (FNB Bank) for the first time. If you are part of a business, nonprofit organization, church, or any other group within the region and would like to join us, please complete the Vendor Registration Form, here, by July 30th, 2021. There is no cost to be a vendor at National Night Out. If you have any questions about vendor registration or National Night Out, please contact Director Blake Lynch via email at [email protected] or Police Substation Manager Rachel Black at [email protected]. National Night Out is a wonderful way to get involved in your community and we look forward to seeing you there!
Hi, A huge search is being done for an autistic young man by the name of Cole Geise. He went missing May 2nd, when he left his home in Olean, NY. He likes to travel roads, likes to walk, but is shy of taking rides. The search is now extending over the border into Pa.! Please spread the poster/word of Cole Geise-he is a missing vulnerable adult! Thank you!
Can someone please point me in the right direction of where online I can read the hbg police department policy and procedure on confiscating money after an arrest? I have made multiple emails and got no answer and ready can't find online not sure where to look
WHY DISPATCHER #911 TELL ME I DON'T NEED TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON IN MY AREA. BUT WHY WOULD THE POLICE ASK ME IF I SAW THE PERSON RUNNING..#200 SAID IT'S NOT MY BUSINESS--I GUESS THE HBG POLICE SHOULD KNOW THAT #200 SAID IT'S NOT OUR BUSINESS--WOULD I HAVE BEEN YELLED AT BY DISPATCH OR TOLD IT'S NOT MY BUSINESS IF I WASN'T IN THE CITY.
Is anyone on the city police force aware that there is a worship service scheduled for the Capitol steps tomorrow? They are planning to park on City Island and walk over
Would like the get the word out. Thanks!
I would love to say a BIG thank you to the police officers that helped me today as my vehicle was stopped on Forster and Front Streets today due to a dead battery. They came and pushed me off to the side of the road, I am so very grateful for your help during this very stressful time. God Bless you all.
