This summer, we're providing meals for children at nearly 60 summer feeding sites throughout the 27 counties we serve, and expect to feed more than 3,000 children each week. One of these partners, the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg is serving more than 100 children each day. Yesterday, our friends at Local 21 CBS News, WHP Harrisburg visited them to learn more about their program.

We all have 1mission taking it 2 Taking It To The Streets 1goal and that is to make Harrisburg City/Community great again.
We can do so By: in anyway possible
Leading By Example & P.U.S.H through Tone Cook
Involving & Investing in Our Youth 10 X's Better
Wanting to put your all in and are passionate about the Movement in your Community along with All You Can Inc.
Have FUN making a difference and include the kids & Youth in your Family with LOOP Boyz & Girlz
Reaching Any & Everybody that is trying to make a difference in the Community even if it takes them through Capital Area Dream Center
Or S.O.S.A.D Saving Our Sons and Daughters Maybe even Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg or Breaking The Chainz, Inc.
Many of you want a more 1 on 1 Individual type or movement and We recognize all of the Community Nentors & Leaders that take time out of their personal lives to invest in these individuals like, Kevin Maxson Kevin Butts Dante Labron Kendale Wise Richie Lewis James Lyles Yolanda Lyons Donald Lyons Ralph Rodriguez Tiffiney L. Hall Patricia Mae Pastor Chuck Lamon to name a few. Just a few there's many more!!
I can go ON & ON with different Organizations, Ministries, & Individuals. This is just a small percentage of so many people putting in foot work and ALL we can to see our City of Concerned citizens of the HBG community be different and it starts at HOME! We can change the way our Community and others see our City. The Capitol of Pennsylvania, that's US! By beginning to restore & rebuild our Home dynamics, our family dynamics, our inner units where WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE without anyone disapproval or interaction. Matter fact noBODY can and will invest on the restoration and commitment of your family more than YOU!!! We have to just HAVE TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE & P.U.S.H. Like our Brother Tone says from Michaels-Memory Push “Hallmanor Lead By Example “ clean up Alllllll the time.
Then & ONLY then we can see all the hard foot work and investments on a morè personal level will happen! It begins in our HOMES°! We cannot try to restore & rebuild out neighborhoods and communities if our homes are in disorder or broken. Firm believes in that! PRAYING PRAYING & CONTINUE TO PRAY for our City and its Leaders including ourselves with Taking it to the Streets.

The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is grateful to have dedicated community partners who are committed to ending hunger in our communities. The PNC Foundation recently made a generous gift of $30,000 for our 2021 Summer Feeding Programs for youth. In addition, their team members joined us on a recent visit to a summer meal distribution at the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg.

On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the Camp Curtin Academy Football Field, the 3rd Annual National Night Out was held.

Participating groups included the Harrisburg City Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Dauphin County Sheriff’s Office, Harrisburg High School Cheerleaders, Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg, as well as many other organizations.

Officer Corey Shoemaker and his K9 partner, Levi represented the Pennsylvania Capitol Police. Levi, an explosive detection K9 was a hit with the children. With a record crowd of over 6,000 attendees, Levi received a lot of attention from people from 2 months of age to 100 years of age.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
