A part time officer with Penbrook Borough, Officer Bloss has provided 40 years of service, 36 of which have been for Penbrook Borough. When you see him out on October 6th you can ask him about his dogs, his family, and being able to spend time at the beach with them!

A 26 year veteran, Officer Prisbe has served with the Penbrook Police Department since 2018 as a part time officer. He has always enjoyed spending time in the outdoors camping and mountain biking. He is a United States Army Veteran. Don’t hesitate to stop him while he’s out walking around October 6th and talk to him!

One of our part time officers, Officer Swank has worked for Penbrook Borough for 25 years! He has also worked as a volunteer firefighter for over 35 years, and is currently acting as one of the Dauphin County District Attorney’s special investigators for fire investigations. When you see him walking around October 6th he would be happy to talk about his career endeavors or his go-to vacation spot in the Outer Banks.

One of our newest officers, Officer Leggore has served with Penbrook for two years now. Prior to her service in law enforcement, she served with the United States Marine Corps and the Marine Corps Reserves for a total of 12 years. She's a known buff of horror movies so look for her out on foot patrol October 6th and see if she has any suggestions for Halloween!

A full time officer of Penbrook Borough for the past two years, Officer Tritt has been a proactive employee of the police department. An avid hunter, he has traveled to different states to practice his sport. Feel free to stop him while he’s out on patrol October 6th to talk to him about hunting, or his background in construction and even chicken and turkey farming!

A full time officer for Penbrook Borough, Officer Aquiler has served for 6 years. He has enjoyed playing music across southcentral Pennsylvania and even performed for two years in Hersheypark! A full time officer with Penbrook Borough, Officer Baldwin has served 36 years in law enforcement, 25 of which have been with the borough. He likes to take time hunting and fishing, but has also spent time working with children and orphanages in Thailand! He'll be happy to talk with you about these endeavors when you see him walking around on October 6th.

Chief Joe Hogarth is Penbrook's Chief of Police and Borough Manager. This is his 26th year in law enforcement serving as a swat officer, firearms instructor and patrol sergeant prior to coming to Penbrook in 2019. The Chief enjoys reading history and historical non-fiction especially if it's a lesson in leadership. Currently he's reading "Once An Eagle" by Anton Myrer and "Team Of Rivals" by Doris Kearns Goodwin.

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Corporal Tim Groller. He showed courage and character in the service of this community for more than 12 years. He showed fortitude by defying all odds against cancer for more than 3 years. Thanks to those of you who have shown such support to him and his family over the last few years. This is a loss to many. Tim would want us to add encouragement to those facing the challenges of any life threatening disease to dig in and fight hard because every day counts.

Help PPD catch a Grinch

Please help us identify the individual observed in the attached video. On 12/2/2019 between 11:30 pm and midnight, the individual in the video stole several inflatable Christmas decorations from residences in the 2700 block of Hoffer Street. Anyone who may be able to identify this individual is asked to contact the Penbrook Police Department. Additionally, if any residents close to the 2700 block of Hoffer Street have video surveillance, please check it and notify us if this individual is observed on your camera.

Happy Friday Penbrook! One week from today the following streets will need to be free of vehicles for street sweeping: Canby from township line to Walnut, 28th from Walnut to Elm and all of Houston St. All Streets will be posted at least two days prior to the respective areas being cleaned.

Good morning Penbrook. As we continue our updates regarding street sweeping next week here is the line up for streets on Wednesday and Thursday (9th/10th). Wednesday will be the even side of Hoffer St., Butler from Walnut to 28th, 26th from Elm to Boas, Banks from 27th to 28th, Boas from 27th to 28th, 29th from Walnut to Banks and Penbrook Av from Walnut to 30th. Please move your vehicles from those areas so our crew can get the street cleaned up.

Good morning Penbrook! 1 week from today (October 8th) we'll be sweeping the following streets on the EVEN side: George, Hillside, State, Penbrook Av from 27th to Walnut, 24th from Canby to Herr as well as 28th and Boas both from Walnut to the township line.
