*****Families with school age children****

As parents and school continue to plan for the upcoming school year, I thought I would share a toolkit PDE is providing to LEAs in helping them formulate their instructional delivery model. This is on the PDE website and there is also an archived webinar link below. This optional toolkit provides the LEAs a structural process to utilize in planning their delivery model.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) is pleased to announce the release of the next tool in The Roadmap for Education Leaders: Creating Equitable School Systems. Working alongside PDE, Mass Insight Education & Research created a toolkit to help local education agencies (LEAs) continue to plan for effective implementation of instructional delivery models that are best fit for their local context. This toolkit does not, and is not intended to, prescribe a specific course of action. Instead, this toolkit provides a set of guiding questions and planning tools to support successful implementation of your LEA’s selected instructional delivery model(s).

The instructional delivery model planning toolkit is available on PDE’s website.

Watch an archived webinar, developed by Mass Insight & Education Research, that offers a facilitated walkthrough of the instructional delivery model planning toolkit.

Join us on Sept 30th as we welcome Pat Bergmaier, CFP®, ChSNC®, RICP®Partner at1847Financial. Pat also runs the 1847 Financial Special Needs Planning Team.

We have had many requests to invite a financial planner onto our Family Forum, as we all think about long term planning for our loved ones. We've invited Pat because he a strong background in Special needs planning, Insurance, tax planning and understands our system. These are all necessary areas to appropriately plan. Pat also can expand on the fact that you do not need a lot of money to plan for your loved one's future beyond you!

We do not endorse any particular company. We encourage everyone to do your homework and make the best choice for your situation.
